About Us
Founded in 2001, by Sandra Ford, Panache Interiors is a soft furnishings design and creative business. Through the past 16 years Panache Interiors has acquired extensive experience servicing a raft of clients in the counties of Herts, Bucks, Beds and surrounding areas.
Design, colour and all aspects of needlework, are almost certainly in Sandra’s genes with two embroiderer great aunts, another who was a highly skilled tailor and an artist grandfather. With such family heritage, Panache Interiors was inspired by Sandra’s love of the craft of needlework and by her fascination with beautiful fabrics and textiles. However she found that her passion was somewhat at odds with today’s world of mass production.
As a result, Panache Interiors was created with the aim to fashion unique stunning furnishings, specifically made to suit clients’ rooms, ideas and budgets.
Originally Panache Interiors’ main focus was the development of made to measure window dressing solutions such as curtains and blinds. However, as client’s requirements developed it became clear that customers were seeking a larger more extensive design service.
In 2016 Sandra furthered her development by undertaking a course in Interior Design at the National Design Academy.
Today, Panache Interiors offers a full solution for all soft furnishings needs. In addition to curtains and blinds, through a selection of skilled experts we offer upholstery, cushions, throws and quilting as well as advice on room design and colour schemes.
Our focus is one of personal service and execution. Sandra visits each client before work is undertaken and remains committed to their wishes throughout, until finally she overseas all furnishings being hung or fitted.
In addition to our focus on personal service and delivery we pride ourselves on the fact that all our work is bespoke, hand sewn, ensuring all your furnishings are exquisitely created to the highest quality
Consequently Sandra’s passion for style, drape, contrast and colour has continued and been given full rein through her work on windows of all type, size and shape.
Geographical Area
I am happy to take on commissions within the Northern Home Counties and North London. From Watford, St Albans up to Berkhamsted, Tring, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. Projects outside this area will be by negotiation

She recommended materials and styles we would not have considered: Voile blinds to provide privacy; roman blinds for the bathrooms with materials that complemented our tiles; beautiful materials for the bi-fold doors into our garden with the perfect suggestion of ensuring the track was wide enough so that when the curtains are pulled back they do not obstruct the glass.
To assist our budget Sandra reworked existing curtains for the upstairs rooms.
Sandra has helped us create a stunning look and everyone who comes to the house comments on the style, look and feel of our window dressings (particularly the bi fold door curtains).
